Dissertation procedures

According to § 43 of the Higher Education Act of the State of Schleswig-Holstein ( Hochschulgesetz des Landes Schleswig-Holstein) , doctoral candidates must enroll at the university where they are taking their doctorate. For enrollment you need this application . If you have not been enrolled at the University of Lübeck before, you still need to submit these documents . Send the application and documents to Ms. Christiane Schramm, christiane.schramm(at)uni-luebeck(dot)de

Two different offices of the university are responsible for questions regarding the final dissertation procedures (commencing from the beginning of writing your dissertation). Please contact the respective office:

Please consult the STEM office in time (approx. 6 months prior to the scheduled submission of the dissertation) to get an overview of deadlines, formal requirements of your dissertation as well as the evaluation and examination procedures. The University grants the following titles:

Dissertationen

Vielen dank für ihr interesse an einer doktorarbeit in der allgemeinmedizin.

Wir bieten unseren Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden neben der Bearbeitung der Fragestellung die Möglichkeiten an institutsinternen Fortbildungen teilzunehmen, die Ergebnisse der Arbeit auf einem Kongress vorzustellen und als Erstautor die Ergebnisse zu veröffentlichen. Daher können Sie bei einer Dissertation in der Allgemeinmedizin inklusive Datenerhebung insgesamt von einem zeitlichen Umfang von rund drei Jahren rechnen. Um eine umfassende Betreuung zu gewährleisten, haben wir die Anzahl der gleichzeitig betreuten Dissertationen festgelegt.

Aktuell haben wir daher leider keine Themen zu vergeben. Sie können sich jedoch gerne auf unsere Interessentenliste einschrieben.

Sobald neue Themen zu vergeben sind, werden alle Interessenten über die zu vergebenden Themen informiert. Sollte Ihnen ein Thema zusagen, werden Sie gebeten, eine Recherchearbeit zu dem Thema im Umfang einer DIN-A4-Seite (Arial 11, 1,5 Zeilenabstand) zu erstellen. Sie können damit überprüfen, ob Sie das Thema auch langanhaltend interessieren könnte. Nach persönlicher Vorstellung der Rechercheergebnisse werden die Themen vergeben.
